Are there consequences for failure to submit reports?
If a company fails to meet its reporting obligations, this can have the following consequences:
- Reduced transparency: Investors do not receive up-to-date information on business performance or financial status.
- Delayed communication: Queries regarding payouts, maturity dates or other developments cannot be answered directly as long as no up-to-date data is available.
- Limited scope for action: CONDA Capital cannot actively intervene in such cases, as reporting is contractually the responsibility of the company and there is no insight into ongoing business developments.
- Reminder process: CONDA initiates an internal reminder process to encourage the company to fulfil its obligations.
As soon as new information becomes available or the company fulfils its obligation, investors will be automatically notified by email.
What can you do as an investor?
As an investor, you are a direct contractual partner of the company and therefore have the right to contact the company directly and request information – particularly regarding interest payments or repayments.
Should the company fail to respond to your enquiry, please feel free to contact our
Investor Relations Team (see article:
How to contact us).
We collect feedback and, if necessary, can coordinate joint communication channels or work towards obtaining a response from the company.
Tip: To ensure you don’t miss any new reports or updates, we recommend that you:
• Check your CONDA Capital account (under ‘My Investments’) regularly
• Ensure that our emails do not end up in your spam folder
