As a general guideline, you should allow around six months for the entire offering process, including preparation.
The actual duration depends in particular on the following factors:
- the target financing amount
- the chosen activation strategy
- how quickly the required documents and content are provided
- the actual progress of the subscription phase
When should the funding threshold be reached?
Ideally, at least 50% of the funding threshold should be secured during the pre-subscription period. The funding threshold should be reached within the first four to six weeks of the public subscription period. Early progress can generate visible momentum among other prospective investors.
A longer campaign period does not automatically lead to a better result. A key factor is how consistently and actively the issuer mobilises its network and communication channels throughout the campaign.
