If an investor passes away, existing investments may be transferred to the person entitled to inherit them. Several steps are required before the transfer can be completed.
1. Registration and verification of the heir
The heir must first register on CONDA Capital Market.
After registration, their identity must be successfully verified.
An investment can only be transferred once registration and verification have been successfully completed.
2. Submitting supporting documents
After successful registration and verification, the heir should contact our
Investor Relations Team (see article:
How to contact us).
The following documents are required:
Austria
- Certificate of inheritance or court order confirming inheritance rights
Germany
- Certificate of inheritance (Erbschein) or another suitable proof of inheritance rights
Additional documents may be required depending on the individual case.
3. Transfer of the investment
After all required documents have been reviewed and approved, CONDA Capital will transfer the investment from the account of the deceased investor to the account of the heir.
The transfer will only be completed once all requirements have been met and all necessary documents have been submitted in full.
4. Confirmation of successful transfer
Once the transfer has been completed, the heir will receive a confirmation by email.
From that point onwards, the investment will be displayed and managed within the heir’s personal CONDA Capital account.
Tip: Providing all required documents completely and as early as possible helps to minimise processing times.
