Who is eligible to invest on CONDA Capital Market?

Our platform is subject to the provisions of the European Crowdfunding Service Providers Regulation (ECSP). Therefore, there are certain legal and regulatory requirements that must be met in order to invest on CONDA Capital Market.

Minimum requirements for investors

To invest on CONDA Capital Market, the following conditions must be met:
  1. You must be at least 18 years old
  2. You have created a free account on the platform
  3. You have completed all profile information and successfully verified your account
  4. You are not liable for tax in the US and are not resident in a country with a high Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI)
When you register for the first time, we will also ask you a few questions regarding investor suitability. This allows us to check whether you understand the risks associated with the respective investment products and what previous experience you have with investments.
This self-assessment is repeated every 24 months to ensure your details remain up to date and to protect investors as effectively as possible from unwitting risks.

Country and individual restrictions

Due to regulatory requirements, participation in investments on CONDA Capital Market is not permitted for certain individuals:
  1. Countries with a high Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI): Individuals residing in countries listed on the CPI risk index cannot use our platform. This measure is designed to comply with international anti-money laundering and compliance standards.
  2. US residents: Individuals who are tax residents of the US (e.g. US citizens, Green Card holders or persons liable for tax under the ‘Substantial Presence Test’) are excluded from using the platform.
  3. Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs): PEPs are individuals who, due to their public functions, pose an increased risk of corruption or money laundering (e.g. government officials, judges, senior military personnel or party officials). If a person is identified as a PEP, enhanced due diligence measures apply during the verification process.
These regulations are designed to safeguard the integrity and security of the financial system and to protect all investors.
